TAKiN (Captain Wiggle) is an influential force in the global and Canadian electronic music scene, with over two decades of dedication to music and is the Founder of Wiggly Events, Wiggle Room in Toronto, and Wiggle Room Records.
TAKiN’s talent as a producer is equally impressive, with a string of successful releases under his belt. His single “Boro Chap” and his remix of Supernova’s “Give it Up” hit the #1 spot on Beatport’s Deep House Release chart. TAKiN’s remix of Nathan Barato and Carlo Lio’s “Future” gained traction on Toronto’s top FM radio station Z103.5, climbing to the #14 position on Beatport’s Tech House Releases. His recent work includes an Afro House remix of the club anthem “Wiggle Room,” originally produced by The Cube Guys.
A highly respected and versatile DJ, TAKiN has played direct support to major acts like Grammy Awards winners Roger Sanchez and Purple Disco Machine, as well as other internationally renowned artists such as Bad Boy Bill, David Penn, Riva Starr, Mousse T., The Shapeshifters, Ninetoes, Gene Farris, DJ Sneak, and many more. TAKiN has also expanded his global reach with appearances on ManoTo TV, a Persian network with over 9 million viewers. Although primarily recognized for his dirty bouncy house DJ sets, TAKiN also has a unique open-format ability to perform a variety of genres like beatless, downtempo, nu jazz, psychedelic organic deep house, and other genres.
